There has been a lot of chatter about the show Cops lately. This show follows the daily routine of police officers, which was originally broadcast on Fox in 1989. After 23 years, Americas Most Wanted has been cancelled, giving Cops a chance to take over television. According to reports, Spike TV, now known as Paramount Network, decided to cancel the show after the Season 33 premiere of Cops aired on June 8, 2020. Spike TV decided to withdraw from the show after receiving numerous complaints from viewers. The show has been criticized for its portrayal of police officers as brutal and corrupt. As a result of the negative portrayal of law enforcement, many viewers have called for the shows cancellation. Although many police officers oppose the shows proponents because they believe that showing the polices work is important, the shows supporters do agree. In their opinion, the public must see for themselves what police officers are like. The popularity of Cops demonstrates a large audience, but it also demonstrates a significant negative impact on law enforcement. It would be a significant step forward if the show was canceled, and it is up to the people to decide what they think.
