The Independent Office for Police Conduct investigates the most serious complaints against the police. Such as:

Title Vi Of The Civil Rights Act Of 1964 And The Ojp Program Statute
Together, these laws prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, and religion by State and local law enforcement agencies that receive financial assistance from DOJ. . What Are Police Complaints
Complaints are investigated by the polices local Professional Standards Department and the Independent Office for Police Conduct .
